The lack of an in-room coffee machine is puzzling!!! The workout area could use more equipment for a serious fitness enthusiast!!! Additionally, the decor feels a bit outdated and doesn't reflect the lovely history behind the place.

The cozy common areas, including a beautifully decorated lounge and ample outdoor seating, provided a warm atmosphere. The overall accessibility made it easy to navigate the inn, particularly for seniors looking for comfort.
A few more grab bars in the shower would help.

missingWrote a review on Jun 23renovated basementwelcoming hostsspacious common areasoutdated decor
The Oakmont Inn exceeded my expectations. The basement area really stood out with the newly renovated fitness center, sauna, and a great game space featuring a pool table and large screen TVs. It became the perfect hangout for watching sports, especially the Ryder Cup. Glenn and Becky, the hosts, created a warm atmosphere. Breakfast included a variety of options, and every meal felt like a treat. My room had a king bed with an assortment of pillows, ensuring a restful night. The common areas, like the lovely outdoor porch and the extensive book collection, enhanced relaxation. A slight downside was the decor in some parts appearing outdated, but the charm of the inn made up for it.

Comfortable Deluxe King Room. Glenn's hospitality really stood out during our stay. Breakfast options were plenty and tasty. The only downside was the noise from the road, which made it hard to sleep in the morning.
